Made for checking student work
Show the student exactly which passages raised the score, instead of a single number.
Upload up to 50 files at once on PRO, or 80 on the EDU plan, and get a score for each.
Export a result as a PDF to keep on file or share with colleagues (paid plans).
Thresholds are calibrated on human English and Chinese writing, because wrongly accusing a student does real harm.
Using AI detection fairly
- Check texts of at least 150 words; short answers are less reliable.
- Formal, templated writing (abstracts, lab reports, set formats) can look AI-like even when a student wrote it.
- Writing by students who are still learning the language can read as formulaic. Treat a high score as a question, not a verdict.
- Tell students in advance which AI uses are allowed in your class, and that their work may be checked.
- Before any decision, talk with the student and look at drafts, notes or version history.
